Reverend Williams, Selah Board Chair, is native of Lakewood, New Jersey and a graduate of Francis Marion University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He is also a graduate of the Interdenominational Theological Center (Johnson C. Smith) in Atlanta, Georgia where he earned a Master of Divinity degree.
Monica Coleman, Ph.D
Monica A. Coleman, Selah Vice Chair, is Professor of Africana Studies at the University of Delaware. Dr. Coleman is the author or editor of six books and several articles that focus on the role of faith in addressing critical social and philosophical issues. Coleman speaks widely on mental wellness, navigating change, religious diversity, and mental wellness.
Romal Tune, Chief Innovation Officer and Board Member for Selah. Romal serves as VP for Strategic Partnerships at TMS Global. He has written two critically acclaimed books, God’s Graffiti: Inspiring Stories for Teens and Love Is an Inside Job: Getting Vulnerable with God. Both share healing stories of overcoming trauma. Now in the third act of life at the age of fifty-two, Romal is stewarding the vision for Selah with Kyndra Fazier.
Marsha Boyd, Ph.D
Marsha Foster Boyd, PhD, is passionate about bringing people together across boundaries to find fertile, not-so-common ground upon which they can build new relationships and develop strategies to affect growth in individuals, institutions and in our world. Having spent 25 years as a professor, dean, accrediting officer, school president, educational strategist, coach and consultant.
Rahsaan Jamaal Coefield, Esq. earned his B.S. in Legal Studies with a concentration in Legal Research and Writing from St. John’s University. He is an alumnus of Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University.
Rahsaan currently serves as Director of Global Diversity and Inclusion organization at Lockheed Martin Corporation where he oversees equal employment opportunity (EEO) investigations.
James S. Dorcely
James S. Dorcely is a real estate developer, entrepreneur, and finance professional with more than 20 years of experience. Mr. Dorcely has many years of experience in the planning, development, and financing of affordable, market rate housing as well as retail & commercial properties.
David Moody a native of Chicago, Illinois. After obtaining a psychology degree from Morehouse College in 1978. Mr, Moody established C. D. Moody Construction Company, Inc., now one of the largest African-American-owned construction companies in America. Moody also has a keen sense of community service. He founded the C.D. Moody Foundation.
Andrew Osbourne, a Barbadian by birth, has had a varied background in the Hospitality Industry with working experience in the Caribbean, UK and the USA. His experience spans a fifty years with both transient and timeshare Resorts. He has held positions ranging from Accountant to General Manager and was also Regional Director for the Caribbean with a well-known hotel chain.
Lu-Shawn M. Thompson is a native New Yorker that has spent majority of her life in service to others. She began her career as Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency/Trauma Care at New Presbyterian Hospital. After the untimely passing of her devoted husband. Lu- Shawn devoted herself to continuing his legacy and mission of criminal justice and prison reform.
Takeisha Washington, CFO for Alpha International
Takeisha Washington comes to us from a background in accounting holding a B.S in accounting and MBA in Financial management. She has served over a decade with Alpha USA in which she now holds the position as CFO. Takeisha also serves as President to RPT Development group which provides quality affordable housing and Community Development in the Chicagoland area.
Matthew W. Williams, serves as President at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC). He is a recognized executive who has built national programs and partnerships among top-level leaders. He brings a strong background in executive leadership, systems change facilitation, process design, and strategy.
